One of the defining strengths of AWS is the quality of our academic program. Families choose AWS for our faculty and curriculum, and for the level of achievement they see on the part of our students. With a small student/teacher ratio AWS promotes interaction and encourages students to take risks both academically and personally.
Beginning in Fall 2009, Annie Wright becomes the first independent school in the state to offer the IB Diploma Program. This is a challenging two-year curriculum widely recognized by the world's leading universities. The Class of 2011 will be our first graduates eligible to receive an IB Diploma. More information about the IB Diploma Program can be found at www.ibo.org
Our close proximity to Seattle allows students to take advantage of local cultural events and outdoor activities.
